The Finial, or Top Cap, can have a significant impact upon the appearance of a lamp. Adding to the symmetry of a lamp, Melinda's finials are designed and hand-made exclusively for The House of Tuscany to transform your lamp into a unique fine lighting piece! Here at The House of Tuscany, Melinda has had the opportunity to observe many attractive lamps that failed to impress because of the lack of forethought on the part of designers in failing to design and include finials worthy of the lamps! Often considered a "detail" by lamp manufacturers, a finial does a great deal to make a lamp pleasing to the eye. First impressions of a lamp with a generic finial are seldom negative, just flat. First impressions of a lamp with a unique and attractive finial are almost always positive!

This lovely feather finial, designed and executed by Melinda using vintage feathers, is a real stunner! This lovely old world style finial is made of steel and has 2 concentric rows of plant leaves surrounding a small center acorn. Measuring 3" inches in height and an impressive 4" inches in diameter, this finial is hand finished by Melinda in a dark brown museum finish that lends itself to any decor!!
